Another interesting little thing about this song is how it transpired. it was actually written at like three or four different sessions over a period of time, and morphed along the way. originally I started writing this as a song that I was going to try and get someone featured with me on the song. I wrote the hook and a verse using a beat that I found, I thought it was catchy. well then I had to get my own instrumental made because I didn't have an instrument at that time this was probably five years ago. I sent my producer a sample, and he made a beat for me, which I really liked and I finished the song after some time, at least I thought I did, but I never really did anything with it until a few years down the line, I had a guitar and I was playing and writing with my friend who really liked the song as well created an acoustic version of the song, Travis put some amazing leads into it and sang backups for me on it. I really enjoy playing it. and singing it. I hope you'll like it, sometimes I am not sure and I don't have a fancy recording studio or large budget to produce a manufactured sound,but your getting singer/songwriter from the heart real music. you know I don't write songs just to make up stuff that I think people might like. my songs are things I've either gone through myself or about somebody I know and am telling a story. I set out to share my songs because I was inspired by people who said that my music helped them through things they were experiencing.
